Dallas-based rapper Tay Money has updated her big 2019 hit “Bussin’ with a feature from Saweetie. Titled “Bussin 2.0,” the single was dropped alongside a visual directed by Munachi Osegbu.
The feature was set in motion on Instagram where Saweetie sent Tay a DM letting her know she was interested in hopping on the track. In an exchange with Flaunt, Tay explained, “She literally hit me up like, “‘bro, I wanna get on ‘Bussin.'” I’m like “bitch say less, I’m sending an open [verse] right now.” She’s the first superstar to actually go out of her way to fuck with me.
“Bussin” was first released in December 2019 as part of Hurricane Tay, a 16-track album featuring DaBaby and YNW Melly.
Active as a rapper since 2017, the 27-year-old Tay first began turn heads in 2018 when she dropped a visual for “Trapper’s Delight” through WorldStarHipHop, a visual that’s since racked up eight million views.
