Sisters Chloe x Halle breathed some new energy into their certified bop “Do It” with a remix featuring Doja Cat, City Girls and Mulatto.
It’s been a productive summer for all of the artists on the remix including Chloe x Halle, who dropped their 13-song Ungodly Hour album in June. In the same month, the City Girls dropped their sophomore album, City on Lock, while Mulatto made her album debut in August with Queen of da Souf.
And while Doja hasn’t released any new projects this year, her single “Say So” featuring Nicki Minaj provided her with her first No. 1 song. Battling back from a mid-summer chat room-related controversy, last week she provided a well-received performance of the song on MTV‘s Video Music Awards, where she recognized as 2020’s best new artist.
“Do It” is Chloe x Halle’s (real names Chloe and Halle Bailey) highest charting single to date. It spent three weeks on the Billboard’s Hot 100 chart where it peaked at 83. Released as part of the duo’s 13-song Ungodly Hour album, “Do It” is also their most streamed single.
