Atlanta-based rapper Mulatto has dropped a video for “On God,” a single from her recently dropped album Queen of da Souf. The Cole-Bennet-directed visual showcases Mulatto as the ultimate boss, capable of turning men into her servants willing to do as told.

Making a big color statement, each scene is themed on monochromatic pink, yellow, and purple sets. When Mulatto hits a pink-colored boutique, she’s accompanied by rappers Mariah the Scientist and rapper Coi Leray.

It’s been a big week for Mulatto who was trending on Twitter all day following XXL releasing her freestyle in celebration of her membership as a member of the magazine’s 2020 Freshman Class.

Mulatto released a 13-track album “Queen of Da Souf” which is out now.

Check out the visual along with her freestyle below:

The GOAT Serena Williams says farewell to her care The GOAT Serena Williams says farewell to her career as a professional tennis player in the September issue of American Vogue.

In the cover story, which is a must read, Williams shares some thoughts on her evolution away from tennis and says,"Believe me, I never wanted to have to choose between tennis and a family. I don’t think it’s fair. If I were a guy, I wouldn’t be writing this because I’d be out there playing and winning while my wife was doing the physical labor of expanding our family. Maybe I’d be more of a Tom Brady if I had that opportunity. Don’t get me wrong: I love being a woman, and I loved every second of being pregnant with Olympia. I was one of those annoying women who adored being pregnant and was working until the day I had to report to the hospital—although things got super complicated on the other side. And I almost did do the impossible: A lot of people don’t realize that I was two months pregnant when I won the Australian Open in 2017."

The cover editorial was styled by Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, who in 2020 became the first black woman to style a U.S. Vogue cover.

This cover was also one of the last projects hairstylist #LatishaChong worked on before she sadly passed away in July this year.

Make-up by Raisa Flowers, nails by Dawn Sterling, and photography by Luis Alberto Rodriguez.
