Well that was fast! Bronx rapper Cardi B has announced she has reunited with her husband Offset. The news comes one month after she announced she was filing a divorce from her husband of three years.
The flames were rekindled at her 28th birthday bash on Saturday evening (October 10, 2020) in Las Vegas, where Offset (real name Kiari Cephus) gifted her with a Rolls Royce Cullinan SUV complete with a matching $8,000 car seat for their daughter, Kulture Cephus. After the event, Offset captured captured Cardi partying in his hotel room on Instagram Stories.
Prior to birthday celebration, Offset purchased a billboard featuring an image of Cardi and their daughter in coordinated pink outfits with a caption reading: “Happy Birthday Mommy Love Kulture.”
Following the weekend long fête in Vegas, the on-again-off-again-couple were then spotted together at an Atlanta club on Tuesday. In a session on Instagram Live, Cardi (real name Belcalis Almánzar) admitted she found it hard to stay away. She explained, “When people be saying I be doing shit for attention, with this and that, no, I’m just a crazy bitch. One day I’m happy, the next day I wanna beat a n*gga up. I just be starting to miss [Offset]. It’s hard not to talk to your best friend. It’s really hard not to talk to your best friend. And it’s really hard to have no d*ck.”
The session with fans occurred after she accidentally posting a topless image of herself on Instagram Stories, which she admitted occurred while in bed with Offset.
As to why she filed for divorce in the first place, Cardi explained back in September, “The reason for my divorce is not because of none of that sh*t that ever happened before. It’s not because of cheating. I just got tired of f**king arguing. I got tired of not seeing things eye to eye. When you feel like it’s just not the same anymore, before you actually get cheated on, I’d rather just leave.”
While they appear to be cozy once again, multiple sources are reporting the divorce case is still open on Fulton County Magistrate’s website.
