Get Into The Amazing Styling For Doja Cat’s ‘Del Mar’ Visual

Rapper Doja Cat and Puerto Rican reggaeton singer Ozuna (real name Juan Rosada) last week dropped a visual for “Del Mar,” a single featuring Sia [Furler]. Directed by Nuno Gomes through his production company, Compostelo Films, the futuristic visual has racked up over 11 million views and counting since it went live on Friday (October 16, 2020).

Known for delivering compelling visuals, Doja (real name Amala Dlamini) pulled out all the stops, tapping Brett Alan Nelson to handle styling of costume, accessories and nails (by Eichi Matsunga), which standout on their own as works of art.

Designed to recreate a futuristic undersea fantasy world, Doja, Ozuna and Sia are dripping, literally, in pearl, diamond and Swarovski crystal-covered bikinis, accessories and headpieces with design contributions coming from Chrishabana, House of Malakai and Natalia Fedner, among others.

This Atlantis inspired job lasted about 9 days total and was a mix of original custom carvings and castings, hand sewing and embellishment with a shit ton of pearls, crystals and charms.
