Houston Hottie Megan Thee Stallion (real name Megan Pete) thrilled her fans today (November 12, 2020) with news she will release her debut album, a project titled Good News on November 20, 2020.
“Savage Remix” featuring Beyoncé [Knowles-Carter], is the album’s lead single. The album will also include “Girls in the Hood” and “Don’t Stop” featuring Young Thug, a single release in October.
The 25-year-old rapper announced the news on Instagram where she wrote, “Hotties , I first want to say thank you for riding with me, growing with me, and staying down with me since my first mixtape Rich Ratchet !
“Through this rough ass year we’ve all been having I felt like we could all use a lil bit of good news. So with that being said MY OFFICIAL ALBUM “GOOD NEWS” IS DROPPING NOVEMBER 20TH PRE ORDER WILL BE AVAILABLE TONIGHT.”
Megan dropped her first mixtape, titled “Make It Hot” in 2017. She turned heads with the release of “Tina Show” in 2018, followed by “Fever” in 2019 and “Suga” in March 2020.
The news arrives at the end of a roller coaster year for the charismatic entertainer who has experienced the highs of two No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 singles, “Savage Remix” and as a featured artist on Cardi B‘s (real name Belcalis Almánzar) “WAP,” alongside an ugly falling out with rapper Tory Lanez (real name Daystar Peterson), who she has accused of shooting her once in each foot following a party in Los Angeles in mid-July.
No tracklist has been released yet, however the album is available for pre-order at midnight and it’s set to release on November 20th.
