For women’s music, October was highlighted by the splashy release of Ariana Grande‘s sixth studio album Positions. Released on October 20, 2020 the project’s titled single not too surprisingly made its debut on the Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.
Looking out at the final two months of this (weird-ass) year, we remain on high alert for new music from Rihanna, who (above) was spotted last week in Los Angeles attending what was thought to be a video shoot. Music, fashion? One never knows with the multi-hat wearing Robyn Rihanna Fenty.
Snobette Sounds October top 14 singles includes music by or featuring the following women: Kelese, Pap Chanel, Alicia Drayton, Ariana Grande, M.I.A., Saweetie, Jhené Aiko, Kelese, Queen Naija, Mulatto, Rico Nasty, Miyah Lynnae, Mulatto, Ayanis, Carla Morrison, Neila and Amaarae.
