Swapping out the brand’s yellow star motif for Hello Kitty’s head, they’re definitely cute enough to wear as a face decorative item not unlike wearing a band-aid just ’cause.
What are Hydo-Stars? They’re “hydrocolloid pimple-protectors clinically proven to absorb fluid, shield spots from outside bacteria, and prevent skin picking.”
Hydro-Stars are made with hydrocolloid, a substance borrowed from surgical dressing that’s clinically proven to help flatten pimples by absorbing bacteria and fluid. The product is vegan, oil and cruelty free.
In addition to Hydro-Stars, the brand also sells Space Wash, Exfoliating Night Water, Moisture on Mars and Lift Off pore strips.
The company was founded in September 2019 by Elle beauty editor Julie Schott and serial entrepreneur Brian Bordainick.
Priced at $14.99 plus shipping, Starface and Hello Kitty’s Hydro-Stars are now available on starfaceworld.com.
