Model and poet Ebonee Davis makes her official entry into the world of music with the release of “Crystal by the Bed,” a sultry trap single featuring VerLacy Jordan.
Rapping over Memphis-born rapper Moneybagg Yo‘s “Pistol by the Bed,” single was released on Soundcloud alongside a visual directed by Cierra Glaudé.
Channeling appreciation for the power and beauty of their ancestors, Davis raps, “My nose is round, my skin is brown; What goes around comes around, I buss it down.”
The 28-year-old Davis first splashed on the scene as a contestant on season 18 of “America’s Next Top Model.” Following prominent campaigns with Calvin Klein, Gap, Victoria’s Secret and more, in 2017 Davis provided a Ted Talk revealing the challenges of navigating the fashion industry as a young, Black woman.
