There are people who coordinate their manis with their kicks and then there’s Snobette Sneaker Awards panelist Heather, known on Instagram and Twitter as HennyKickIt.
Based in Los Angeles and very much a member of a foundational culture that helped catapult sneakers and streetwear into a global fashion trend, Henny has taken the uniquely feminine and fleeting art of matching manicures to a different place, creating a series of soulful statements on style, music and her community.
More than just serving up inspiring fits, Henny is the living embodiment of why Black women, aka the blueprint, are the pillars of sneaker culture.
