Nike and Matthew Williams continue their ongoing collaborative efforts with an official look at their Zoom MMW 4 sneaker (style code: CU0676-200), a shoe that provides some razzle dazzle through its technology-packed outsole combined with an attractive tone=on-tone white and beige knit upper that receives some added pop from silver metal detailing.
The silhouette was first revealed during Nike’s Olympic-themed Future Sports Forum presentation in February 2020 and more recently was spotted on the feet of Spanish singer Rosalia [Vila Tobella] in October.
Williams is founder and creative director of 1017 ALYX 9SM and was recently announced as the creative director for Givenchy. Williams is among a new class of streetwear designers including Virgil Abloh and Yoon Ahn who’ve been tapped by legacy European fashion houses for creative leadership or collaborative roles.
While official images have emerged, as of now there’s no information on either pricing or timing for the launch.
