Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West are allegedly on the verge of announcing their divorce. The news comes via Page Six, which has reported “divorce is imminent” with Kardashian West hiring divorce attorney to the stars, Laura Wasser.
“They are keeping it low-key but they are done,” a source told the publication. The thrice-married Kardashian and West are said to already be in the midst of settlement talks.
According to reporting, the 40-year-old Kardashian-West is no longer wearing her wedding ring. Meanwhile West, 43, stayed at his Wyoming ranch over the holidays.
“Kim got Kanye to go up there [Wyoming] so they could live separate lives and quietly get things sorted out to separate and divorce. She’s done,” the source said.
A second source said West has grown tired of the family’s reality star antics, noting, “Kanye is completely over the entire family. He wants nothing to do with them.”
Indeed, in July the talented created tweeted, “I been trying to get divorced since Kim met with Meek at the Warldolf [sic] for ‘prison reform,'” a missive seemingly implying the Kardashian had cheated on him while attending a criminal justice summit attended by Kardashian-West and rapper Mill in November 2018.
At the time, he also described Kris Jenner as Kris Jong-Un and added that the family was trying to force him to use medication to help smooth out mood swings associated with his bi-polar illness.
While West showed up for Kardashian-West’s 40th birthday party in Tahiti and gifted his wife a hologram of her father, Robert Kardashian, he stayed on the tropical island for just 24 hours.
The couple have four children together, North (born June 15, 2013), Saint (born December 5, 2015), daughter Chicago (born January 15, 2018), and son Psalm (born May 9, 2019).
