While there’s a lot of trash talk about brands making way too many pink sneakers for female customers, truth be told a ton of women love a pink sneaker! For Valentine’s Day, Nike delivers for lovers of the distinctly feminine hue serving up an Air Force 1 Low (style code: DD3384-600) sneaker dubbed Love Letter.
The shoe features a white leather and tulip pink suede upper adorned with a university red Swoosh. Sweet touches include heart-shaped perforations on the top box, mismatched pink and red insoles and a pink fabric flap on each tongue held in place with a pink snap. When pulled back, the flap reveals to hearts, one of which reads: “True love since ’82,” the birth year of the Air Force 1.
