Stella McCartney by Adidas makes a big splashy statement for spring 2021 with a collection of activewear items splashed with one of three floral prints. Apparel is accompanied by coordinated accessories and footwear.
True to Stella McCartney’s commitment to sustainability, garments makes use of Primegreen, a recycled polyester, sourced sustainably from post-industrial and post-consumer waste like plastic bottles.
The campaign was shot outdoors and features Lourdes Leon, London artists Calm and Violet, fashion student and organic farmer Yuri Hibon, DJ and dancer AKILI and model and activist Georgia Moot.
Reflecting on the campaign, McCartney wrote on Instagram, “After a year spent indoors, I felt a collective desire to reconnect with nature and people who matter like Lola. Her gift for dance and movement is elemental, and our friendship inspires me to push forward.”
Directed by Anna Malize, the movement-filmed campaign was not far from New York City with movement themed on “what it means to connect with your direct surroundings and protect what matters most.”
Priced from $75 for a sports bra up to $90 for cycling shorts and $250 for a long, lightweight parka, the capsule is now available on adidas.com and stellamccartney.com.
