Security camera video of Saweetie and Quavo fighting in an elevator has emerged. Obtained by TMZ, the minute-and-a-half video captures the couple outside the elevator already in the midst of a struggle.
While Saweetie (real name Diamonté Harper) announced just last week she and Quavo (real name Quavious Marshall) were no longer together, according to TMZ the elevator incident took place sometime in 2020 in a Los Angeles apartment Saweetie was renting at the time.
In the video, a barefoot Saweetie while still outside the elevator swings at Quavo and misses and then reaches into the elevator to grab an orange Call of Duty box. As she attempts to leave the elevator with the box, Quavo grabs her arm and pulls her back in and in so doing she hits the back wall of the elevator and falls to the ground where she stays, partially out of the view of the camera.
Following the physical altercation, Quavo recovers the box and places it at his feet with his back to Saweetie. Briefly he glances at the security camera in the corner of the elevator. Saweetie remains on the floor even as the door opens revealing a man who’s been waiting for the elevator to arrive. He doesn’t enter the elevator and the door closes.
Wen the door opens again, Quavo at first exits, but then places the Call of Duty box in the door and waits for Saweetie to get up. She finally rises revealing a slight limp as she exits the elevator.
Neither Saweetie nor Quavo has commented on the incident since it was revealed.
