Beach season is upon us and tennis player Naomi Osaka has you covered with a colorful swimwear collection made in collaboration with Frankies Bikinis, a Los Angeles-based label directed by founder Francesca Aiello. Leaning into the color pink, the capsule ranges from string bikinis to a one-piece with a plunging neckline capable of going from the beach to the club.
Commenting on the partnership with Osaka in an exchange with Nylon, Aiello said, “To state the obvious, Naomi is extremely creative and has an amazing sense of style that she has made her own.
“Beyond her style, I also really respect her as a person. I admire the way she uses her platform to inspire, educate, and spread awareness about social happenings. She represents a strong female who is living out her dream and inspiring others to follow theirs, and she is genuinely just an amazing person all around. This collection was designed to showcase her sporty yet feminine style, and I think that this will really resonate with a lot of people and hopefully introduce the brand to new customers with this amazing offering.”
Ranging in price from $80-$180, Osaka’s capsule with Frankies Bikinis will be divided into two collections with the first one dropping on May 10, 2021.
Osaka’s capsule with Frankies Bikinis follows on the heels of news she will be soon be launching Kinlò, a sunscreen-anchored skincare line designed for brown skin.
