Rihanna Backs Up Leah McSweeney In RHONY Spat With Ramona Singer

Following the latest episode of Real Housewives of New York, none other than Rihanna came through for Leah McSweeney by backing her claim that she wears her Married to the Mob label. In a rare Instagram selfie, Rihanna sported a Married to the Mob t-shirt and wrote in the caption, “what was said @ramonasinger ?”

The selfie was a response to a scene in which Singer made snide references to McSweeney’s Married to the Mob label. Firing back, McSweeney stated, “You’re not exactly my demographic. I already have Rihanna wearing my sh*t. You think I need you wearing my sh*t?”

Thrilled by the show of support from the CEO and pop superstar, McSweeney wrote in the comments, “I love you so much.”

And indeed, Rihanna has worn the label, most famously back in 2012 when she was spotted on vacation in a Married to the Mob Supreme Bitch snapback cap. The two also crossed paths at a Met Gala after party hosted by Rihanna at a Manhattan club called Up & Down, a moment captured in The Rihanna Book.

Over the years, Rihanna has repeatedly professed her appreciation for various Real Housewives franchises. As well, Rihanna goes way back with Bravo boss Andy Cohen, who interviewed her in 2012 just prior to the release of her Unapologetic album, as part of a Facebook promotion.
