Pregnancy rumors among dedicated Kylie Jenner watchers have been swirling since mid-summer and today (August 20, 2021) the chatter was confirmed as accurate. According to Page Six, the 24-year-old beauty mogul is expecting her second child with rapper Travis Scott (real name Jacques Bermon Webster II). The news was confirmed by TMZ, which wrote, “A source with direct knowledge tells us Kylie is still in the ‘very early stages’ of the pregnancy and does not yet know the sex of the baby.”
Jenner and Scott already share a daughter together, three-year-old Stormi Webster. Jenner has said in prior interviews that she was mulling having additional children. In an Instagram Live exchange last April with her friend Anastasia Karanikolaou, she stated she eventually would like to have seven children.
Jenner and Travis began dating in 2017 and just 10 months later, Webster was born. The attractive couple appeared together on a GQ cover story in July 2018 and while they appeared happy at the time, they split just 15 months later. Lacking the usual drama of most break ups, the couple went on to seamlessly co-parent their daughter.
Rumors began to surface that the couple were back on in the spring of this year with Jenner flying to Miami to attend Scott’s 30th birthday party. In June, she joined him on the red carpet for Parson School of Design’s annual benefit where Scott was being honored. As the summer wore on, Jenner’s eagle eye fans began to make note of style and diet choices pointing at a possible pregnancy.
As much as Jenner’s fans have examined and reported on her every move, many of them expressed disappointment that the news of her pregnancy was announced by gossip sites. During her first pregnancy, Jenner stayed out of the pubic eye and while some publications reported on pregnancy rumors, she took everyone by surprise when she officially announced the news on February 4, 2018, three days after her daughter was born.
Jenner appeared on Ulta Beauty‘s Instagram Live today where she promoted Kylie Cosmetics. She didn’t mention the news about her pregnancy but added fuel to the fire by wearing a loose-fitting, long-sleeve top in a visual filmed from the chest up.
Pregnancy or not, Jenner has stayed busy, adding on to her beauty businesses with the launch of Kylie Swim, her first stand-alone apparel brand.
