Met Gala Will Stream Live As Co-Hosted By KeKe Palmer And Ilana Glazer

As New York Fashion Week kicks off, Vogue today (September 7, 2021) announced the Met Gala red carpet will be hosted by actress and music creative Keke Palmer and comedian and director Ilana Glazer. As well, the even for the first time in its history will be live streamed.

Hosted at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which will include a corresponding exhibit titled “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion, the gala this year is co-chaired by Timothée Chalamet, Billie Eilish, Naomi Osaka, and Amanda Gorman.

While the official invite list is kept super secret, Page Six has reported the following are confirmed to attend: Jennifer Lopez and Rihanna (no word on their respective beaus), plus Emily Ratajkowski and Camila Cabello. As reported by her Met Gala steady, Andy Cohen, regular guest Sarah Jessica Parker is taking a year off from the event because she’s busy filming HBO series “And Just Like That.”

The Met Gala live stream will be hosted on vogue.com and will begin at 5:30 PM EST on September 13, 2021.
