In advance of CEO Robyn Rihanna Fenty‘s Savage X Fenty‘s Vol. 3 fashion show, the Bajan billionaire took some time to respond to queries about her long-awaited album, referred to as R9 by the Navy.

While not providing any info on timing, she noted, “You’re not going to expect what you hear. Just put that in your mind. Whatever you know of Rihanna is not going to be what you hear. I’m really experimenting. Music is like fashion. You should be able to play. I should be able to wear whatever I want and I treat music the same way. So, I’m having fun and it’s going to be completely different. That’s it.”

Viewers can expect performances by Nas, BIA, Ricky Martin, Daddy Yankee, Jazmine Sullivan, Normani and Jade Novah, with special appearances by Erykah Badu, Troye Sivan, and Sabrina Carpenter, Adriana Lima, Aleali May, Alek Wek, Emily Ratajkowski, Gigi Hadid,  Irina Shayk, Jeremy Pope, Joan Smalls, Leiomy Maldonado, Lola Leon, Thuso Mbedu, Troye Sivan, Vanessa Hudgens, Precious Lee, Behati Prinsloo, Mena Massoud, Nyjah Houston and more.

Savage X Fenty’s Vol. 3 presentation will stream exclusively on Amazon Prime on September 24, 2021. The collection will be available to shop in the Amazon’s Savage X Fenty store and on savagex.com following the event.
