While HBO‘s “Insecure” has become known for debuting new music, the show ventured into the fashion arena last night when it revealed a Telfar Shopping Bag in a previously-unseen color on episode one, “Reunited Okay?” of the series’ final season.
In a scene in which Issa Dee (Issa Rae) and Molly Carter (Iyvonne Orji) are filmed strolling across Stanford University’s campus, Issa sports the bag in a sage colorway, as paired with a striking Dries Van Noten pantsuit.
The back story for sage bag came through “Insecuratea” podcast co-host Francheska Medina, who received the bag as a gift of thanks from Shiona Turini, who is the show’s costume designer.
As of yet, Telfar hasn’t announced when the new sage colorway will launch.
