Music creative SZA took to Twitter on Thursday (September 30, 2021) where she provided followers with a look at a lip gloss in two colors, pearl and pink. “New samples came in an I actually love them?” she wrote, and added, “Looks like we might have lip gloss folks.” The lip gloss reveal was followed by a series of 4C hair care recommendations and didn’t last for long. Within 24 hours of posting it, she deleted it.
SZA (real name Solána Rowe) is famed for her love of lip gloss, so her entry into the category makes perfect sense. When asked about her go-to brands back in 2018, she highlighted Glossier clear lip gloss and NYX Cosmetics‘ Tiramisua shade as well.
Known for having a healthy perfectionist streak, SZA has previewed prior merch and music concepts that didn’t materialize, as such we’re not anticipating this new beauty venture to launch any time soon!
