Crocs and designer Salehe Bembury have provided some additional details on their Pollex clog collab, a shoe distinguished by a nature-inspired concave wave upper. The clog’s upper is also dotted with strategically positioned air holes to reflect high-heat areas of the foot for increased breathability. Providing versatility, the shoe is accompanied by an adjustable and removeable nylon heel straps.
Now based in Los Angeles, Bembury was born and raised in New York and claims an impressive resume as a shoe designer that includes head of sneaker design at Versace, as well as stints at Yeezy, Cole Haan and Payless.
Priced at $84.99, the shoe will be available in either cucumber and Menemsha, however, the cucumber pair will only be available on crocs.com. Prior to the official launch date, which hasn’t yet been provided, Crocs and Bembury’s shoe will be available via raffle with entry open from December 14, 2021 at 11:00 AM EST through from December 15th at 11 AM EST.
