Closing in on the halfway mark for its fifth and final season, HBO‘s “Insecure‘s” episode four is titled “Faulty Okay?” a clear reference to the earthquakes that occur during the episode. It’s hard not to conclude the title is doing double time as a reference to character Issa Dee’s (Issa Rae) questionable decision to restart her relationship with Nathan Campbell (Kendrick Sampson).

Leaving plot developments to the side, the episode began with a seaside party, a scene providing costume designer Shiona Turini a chance to celebrate her Caribbean roots, and celebrate she did.

While Kelli Prenny (Natasha Rothwell), Molly Carter’s (Iyvonne Orji) and Issa Rae all turned up and turned out for the beach party, it was Kelli’s azure bathing suit and cover up that ignited the most commentary on social media. Designed by Hanifa, the suit was paired with a custom ombré robe and lounge pants.

Providing a contrast, Molly wore a very sexy Rui black top with pearl straps with a mesh cover up while Issa wore a tangerine set paired with a Simon Miller “Bonsai” bag. Issa also made a big statement with her braids which were styled by LaRae.

Adorable new character Resha (Brittney Ayona Clemons) was also at the beach party where she casually stunted in a custom Mint Swim swimsuit (below). While it’s not shown in the video, Resha also wore a Farai London blue cover up set.

Providing Mint Swim designer Draya Michele with heaps of praise in Instagram Stories, Turini wrote, “A massive thank you to the icon Draya Michele for making this custom Mint swimsuit for this episode. For going over and beyond, fabric sourcing, making multiple styles and sizes until we got it just right. You are a true boss and incredible collaborator.
