This week, New York-based sneaker chain Foot Locker announced the launch of Cozi, a women’s private label line. The launch follows on the heels of the launch of Lckr, a private label line for men. Both collections take inspiration from the streetwear-rooted cozy ‘fit trend, rooted in slightly over-sized, cotton blend hoodies, sweatshirts and t-shirts.
In addition to the two private label lines, Foot Locker has also upped it collaborative efforts through an ongoing apparel partnership with Don Crawley and Melody Ehsani.
In press about the release, Foot Locker VP Kirta Carroll comments on the launch and says “At Foot Locker Inc. we are always thinking about the consumer. We understand that laid-back apparel isn’t just for lounging anymore, and wanted to bring a female-centric apparel line to the market that is comfortable, affordable and stylish. The introduction of Cozi allows women to feel confident in pieces that mix and match with their own style and personality.”
Cozi’s launch was announced with a campaign featuring music creative Sy’rai Smith, skateboarder Briana King, content creator Iliana Ayala Garcia, photographer Christina Paik, video producer Hannah O’ Flynn, DJ Amrit and DJs and musicians Angel and Dren.
Offered in sizes XS-3X and priced from $35=$50, Foot Locker’s Cozi collection is now live on Foot Locker, Foot Locker Canada, Foot Locker Europe and Champs Sports.
