Denim Tears designer Tremaine Emory has previewed an upcoming collab with Ugg on a Classic Mini boot. Dubbed “Black Seminole,” the boot features a chestnut-colored sheepskin shaft contrasted by a black suede upper detailed with a yellow-beaded wave pattern, which runs along the length of the boot from the toe to the heel. The black suede upper is further detailed with contrast red stitching.
Black Seminoles are Black Indians most frequently associated with Seminole groups located in Florida and Oklahoma. They are viewed as descendants of Seminoles, free Black people and Black people who escaped enslavement.
The New York-based brand experienced a banner year in 2021 which included the reveal of a two-year partnership with Levi, alongside collabs with Off-White and ASICS.
As of yet, timing and pricing hasn’t been revealed for Denim Tears and Ugg’s collab.
