Episode nine of “Insecure” brings all the characters together at a going away party for Tiffany Dubois (Amanda Seales) and her husband, Derek Dubois (Wade Allain-Marcus). Held at Tiffany’s mother’s sumptuous house, the party provides a platform for Issa Dee (Issa Rae) and her friends to flex their best party fits.
As the host of the event, it made sense that Tiffany would show out in a floral Christopher John Rogers bustier top and skirt. Providing an effort body flex, Molly Carter (Yvonne Orji) made an entrance in a silk halter Ann Demeulemeester dress sourced from Replika Vintage. Issa wore vintage, too, an orange Jean Paul Gaultier mini dress, also via Replika Vintage.
In the chaotic final scene, Lawrence Walker (Jay Ellis) literally wears his heart on his sleeve in a grey Comme Des Garçons Play sweater.
