Following news Savage X Fenty planned to grow its physical store footprint, the lingerie company has announced its first permanent location in New York, a store in Brooklyn. Located within walking distance of the Barclays’s Center and Kith, the store will occupy a triangle-shaped building, which formerly housed the Triangle Sporting Goods store.
According to WWD, the initial asking price for the lease was quoted at $650,000 annually. The store has been vacant since 2013. Showing commitment to the location, the Robyn Rihanna Fenty-led company has signed a 10-year lease for the three-floor, Brooklyn location where construction is now in progress.
Located at 182 Flatbush Avenue, the store will be the company’s largest location to date and first permanent free-standing store, basting approximately 6,100 square feet.
While construction has begun, timing for opening day hasn’t been announced.
Savage X Fenty currently operates stores in Culver City, California, Arlington, Virginia, Las Vegas, Nevada and Houston, Texas.
