Harlem icon Dapper Dan took to Instagram this week to let followers know his Gap “DAP” hoodie will be restocked. Referencing the excitement over the hoodie, Dapper Dan wrote in the caption announcing the news, “For the love of y’all.”
The news followed a disastrous limited edition launch on gap.com in mid-March that left the majority of people hoping to purchase the hoodie empty handed. Described as a pre-order, visitors struggled to find the hoodie on the site, which sold out in less than a minute.
While Dapper Dan didn’t provide a lot of details, he noted the restock would take place on March 29, 2022 at 12:00 PM EST. The original orange coral sunrise hoodie was priced at $98.
