Crocs and footwear designer Salehe Bembury are back at it again, announcing new colorways of the Pollex clog, a shoe defined by the concave ridges covering the upper. Bembury’s unique silhouette will be offered in a neon green called Crocodile, a lavender shade called urchin and an off white pair described as stratus. The clog includes an adjustable strap, which can be removed.
This collaboration was first announced in September 2021, when musician Aminé was spotted in the crocodile version of the shoe.
According to Bembury, the ridges are taken from prints of three of his fingerprints which were merged together. According to Bembury, his version of Crocs’ Classic clog “is an exploration of form and function that balances heritage and nostalgia while also opening a new mold to a collaborator.”
Crocs and Bembury’s Pollex clog will retail for $85 and will drop in May on crocs.com and beaspunge.com.
