Los Angeles-based Melody Ehsani has launched new items for spring 2022, a capsule highlighted by a clay-colored Track Star hoodie and sweatpants detailed with an illustration of women who are shown running on a track. Making use of the chalk lines used to mark lanes as a design element, the lines spiral across both the top and bottom of the 100 percent cotton suit.
According to a description of the look, the set was inspired by the Tokyo Olympics: “Like everyone else, we sat back and watched the women’s track teams from around the world at the Olympics this year in AWE of how incredible humans can be. When people ask what inspires you, here’s a good example in clothing form.”
