Music creatives Jhené Aiko and Big Sean have confirmed they’re having their first child together. Rumors first surfaced in mid-June when a Twitter user claimed she saw Aiko and Sean at a Whole Foods and noted, “she’s very pregnant.”
The happy news was made official with a picture reveal by TMZ showing a clearly pregnant Aiko out for a stroll with Big Sean (real name Sean Anderson). Sean followed up on Instagram Stories where he wrote, “Whole new motivation forreal. Very grateful god continues to bless us, Thank You. Can’t wait to be a dad.”
The baby will be the couple’s first together and Aiko’s second. She has a daughter named Namiko Love with r&b singer O’Ryan Browner.

Aiko and Big Sean have been dating on and off since 2016. Sean seemingly referenced a prior pregnancy that ended in miscarriage in a 2020 song titled “Deep Reverence.” Referencing the loss, he rapped, “Should be a billionaire based on the time off I’m not taking. Probably why this shit with me get crazy and we lost a baby.”
In addition to collaborative singles, the duo also formed the group Twenty88 and dropped an album by the same name in 2016. There has been chatter about a second Twenty88 project but it hasn’t ever come to fruition.
