Stylist and model Aleali May took to Instagram to announce an upcoming collaboration with Vanson Leathers. Founded in 1974, Vanson is best known for its patch-adorned leather racing jackets,
Vanson has been working with Bronx-born Davon Bean, founder of streetwear brand Fly Geenius to direct its collaborations. May shared her design process over text messages with Bean, who was able to execute her vision.
Prior to May effort with Vanson, the leather jacket company collaborated with New York’s Scarrs Pizza on a limited edition leather jacket, and also worked with streetwear label Supreme on a jackets and shorts capsule for summer 2022.
The Aleali May x Vanson collaboration will be available on September 10th, on Fly Geenius. Prices range between $389 USD to $1,514 in sizes XS – XXXL.
