Los Angeles-based Lionne as lead by Philly-born Latoia Fitzgerald made New York Fashion Week runway debut on Sunday (September 11, 2022). Titled “La Signora Lionne” (Italian meaning the Lionne lady), the spring 2023 collection leaned into the label’s reputation for sexy-with-an-edge silhouettes.
Commenting on her sophomore runway collection on Instagram, Fitzgerald wrote, “The collection is for that girl that loves to be sexy, edgy but at the same time classy. She’s a hood bitch with runway quality. She’s a diamond in the rough. She’s that girl.”
Styled by Jan Quammie, the looks were presented with custom doorknocker earrings by L’Enchanteur and high-heel boots inspired by Manolo Blahnik‘s Oklamod boot.
Launched four years ago, the label has garnered a lot of attention thanks to the label’s reputation for sexy silhouettes with an edge.
