Highlighting the label’s latest effort with New Balance, designer Joe “Freshgoods” Robinson has released a campaign featuring the 993 shoe and apparel included in the “Performance Art” capsule, which include a long-sleeve, striped crewneck,short-sleeve bowling shirt, t-shirt and a velour tracksuit among other items.
Images feature a mix of talented individuals including r&b singer Monica, media personality Scottie Beam, musician Jaden Smith, actress Storm Reid, Chicago Bulls player Zach LaVine, Chicago rappers Joey Purp and Mick Jenkins, Fat Tiger founders Rello and Des and designer Khalfani “Fani” Denis, among others.
Titled “Performance Art,” the capsule works off of the same pastel color palette that’s become a signature for the designer. While the palette has become associated with the label, the designer recently let it be known he would be moving on from it going forward.
New Balance and Joe Freshgoods “Performance Art” apparel will launch on October 21, 2022 on joefreshgoods.com and at Every Now & Then in Chicago.
