After a false alarm last Friday when Spotify mistakenly published the song, SZA has announced the song and visual for “Shirt” will drop on October 28, 2022. Alongside the announcement, SZA (real name Solána Rowe released a trailer for the video which features actor LaKeith Stanfield.
In what she’s described as a video movie, SZA flexes her acting skills as she chops it up with Stanfield in a diner over a discussion on energy. The trailer ends with SZA taking aim and shooting a tablemate.
The debut single from her next album, “Shirt” was introduced as an outro in her “Good Days” video. Back in July at a concert in Madrid, SZA let fans know Doja Cat would be featured on the song, however, she wasn’t included on the song.
