SZA Says She Needed To Make One Correction To ‘Shirt’ Video, Will Drop Soon

SZA "Shirt" video

October 15, 2022. Leave a Comment

While performing at the Austin City Limits concert in Texas on Friday (October 14, 2022), SZA took a moment to update fans on the video for “Shirt,” a single produced by Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins. While a complete version of “Shirt” hasn’t been released yet, SZA performed the song during the concert.

Addressing a rumor that the video was set to release on the 14th but was pushed out, SZA whose real name is Solána Rowe said, “I don’t know if some of you saw a rumor that ‘Shirt’ was supposed to come out on Friday, or like this Friday. That was true, but it didn’t come out because I looked at the video and I was stressed at one small thing in the video. I fixed that and it is turned in and it is about to come out. That’s the truth. I know [Terrance] “Punch” [Henderson] is rolling his eyes. Love you!”

SZA didn’t say when the “Shirt” video will release, but fans are guessing October 21s, one week following the original launch date.

Last July, SZA mentioned during a performance that “Shirt” would include a Doja Cat (real name Amala Ratna Dlamini) feature. Over a year later, it’s not known if Doja will still be included in the song much less the video.

“Shirt” will be included on SZA’s sophomore album, whose title and launch date haven’t yet been revealed. However, SZA is in the midst of a press roll out which began with a Time cover story, behavior pointing at a fall release.

Ambrosio and Tordini see the street as the most democratic of spaces, where life happens and fashion truly comes alive. In press with WWD Tordini shared, "We didn’t work over the past seven years thinking about how one day we would have hosted a runway show. That was never our priority, we worked to build the company."

Oozing of a certain cool, the brand is beloved by many fashion creatives, as Vogue noted attendees included Ferragamo’s Maximilian Davis, Gucci’s Sabato De Sarno, Jerry Lorenzo, Moncler CEO Remo Ruffini and DSquared designers Dean and Dan Caten, to name a few.
