Adidas Originals has announced plans for a Samba shoe and apparel capsule with news of a collaboration with Pharrell Williams‘ Human Race brand. The collection features an elevated version of the Samba made with premium leather and suede in two colorways. The apparel takes a nostalgic approach to soccer with knit jerseys, tracksuits, and shorts.
Launched by Adidas in 1950 as a performance shoe, the Samba has been a consistent classic for the brand. Over the past couple of years, the silhouette has gained steam propelled in part by a well received collab with Wales Bonner.
Adidas and Human Race’s Samba collection will be available on adidas.com, Adidas Confirmed app, humanrace.com and select retailers on December 2, 2022 at 10:00 AM EST.
