Los Angeles-based designer Melody Ehsani has teamed up with Brooklyn-born artist Aya Brown on a heartfelt apparel capsule featuring a t-shirt, work jacket and pants, all of which are detailed with Aya Brown’s illustrations.
Dubbed “A Love Letter To Our Faves,” the effort is meant to honor and celebrate influential Black women in art, fashion, music and culture with proceeds benefiting Brown and the Studio Museum of Harlem.
Featured artists include Whitney Houston, Lauryn Hill, Janet Jackson, Lil Kim, Sha’Carri Richardson, Cicley Tyson, Chaka Khan, Toni Morrison, Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, Grace Jones, Mo’Nique and Anita Baker.
Priced from $60-$175 and available exclusively at the Studio Museum Of Harlem’s online shop for one week only, Melody Ehsani and Aya Brown’s capsule will be available at the museum’s shop starting November 25, 2022.
