New Zealand-based designer Field Skjellerup has taken social media by storm with a series of conceptual Nike designs. Under the Instagram account @ai_clothingdaily, Skjellrup has shared multiple, digital illustrations whose intricate details combined with a feminine material story call to mind Simone Rocha and Iris Van Herpen.
In an email exchange with Skjellerup about the designs, he wrote, “I wanted to create something Nike would never offer. I feel pretty let down by the constant wave of new designer sneaker collaborations. I think these brands could offer so much more.”
