Columbia-born Natalia Roa’s passion for sneakers was enough to inspire her to open Solely Fuego, a NJ-based sneaker boutique with an online store and two retail locations. Opened in May 2021, the store was launched by Roa and her two sisters. Crediting her oldest sister for her entry into the world of kicks, Roa said, “My oldest sister was always into sneakers growing up and she got me into them.” Now me and my 2 own a sneaker shop. We opened May 2021″
On what inspired her to choose Air Jordan and J Balvin’s Retro 2 silhouette as her No. 1, she explained, “The Jordan 2 is a beautiful silhouette and J Balvin is Colombian just like me. Everything he creates, tells a story. His Jordan collab was inspired by mental health and the all details of his sneaker represents that.”
