Celebrated stylist Law Roach took to Instagram today where he announced he’s now retired. Without providing any specifics, Roach thanked those who’ve supported him over the years and added he was retiring with reluctance. He said, “If this business was just about the clothes I would do it for the rest of my life but unfortunately it’s not! The politics , the lies and false narratives finally got me! You win … I’m out.”
Roach is coming off of a busy month, which included dressing his longtime client, Zendaya, in her coming out role as a Louis Vuitton ambassador. For the Oscar Awards, he dressed a slew of celebs including Megan thee Stallion, Hunter Schafer and Kerry Washington, Hailee Steinfeld and Eve Jobs.
In November of last year, Roach was selected by the CFDA as the debut recipient of the Stylist Award.
