H&M and Mugler’s collaboration included several denim pieces including two Mugler-inspired silhoutte featuring denim and nylon panels whose seams that spiral around the leg. Curved seams are not new–they were a True Religion signature, but like all things early-aughts, they have been cycling back into style.
If you liked the curved seam concept, but you missed out on the capsule or just can’t get down with the tight-fitting silhouette (let’s face it, a lot of us are putting skinny jeans on ice), there are alternatives. One wonderful aspect of the curve seam is that it looks great on an array of body types.
Below check out some recent styles featuring the same chic, curved seam on a wider leg silhouette. They’re sure to give you the Mugler look you crave, without the squeeze.
