Designer Melody Ehsani took to Instagram on Tuesday (April 18, 2023) where she announced her role as creative director for Foot Locker has come to a close. “I am grateful for this chapter as my role as the creative with Foot Locker comes to a close to refocus on other creative endeavors and forge new paths,” she wrote. Indicating she will continue working with the chain, she added, “Foot Locker will always be family, and I am excited to continue my journey with them on other projects in the near future.”
Ehsani was announced as a creative director for Foot Locker in March 2021. It’s beena busy few years for Ehsani who married Red Hot Chili Peppers founding member Flea in 2019, the same year she debuted her first sneaker collaboration with Jordan. The creative couple welcomed their first baby together in December 2022.
Recently, Ehsani took on the role of advisor for Proto Collective, a majority women-led shoe and apparel label whose goal is to create a sustainable supply chain in the Americas with a focus on responsible and local manufacturing
