Chicago-based Joe “Freshgoods” Robinson has signaled a new eara with New Balance, one that’s decidely last colorful than his first initial drops with the brand. Images reveal Joe Freshgoods next shoe will be a New Balance 990v4 offered in either tone-on-tone black or a black and white upper with a white outsole.
In addition to the shoes, the collaboration will include apparel, highlighted by a black leather jacket, a black velour tracksuit and a black and white hockey jersey.
Notably the project was announced with a campaign image, which appears to be inspired by a 1999 XXL editorial featuring Jay-Z, Ja Rule and DMX, photographed by Jonathan Mannion.
Pricing and timing for the drop isn’t yet available.
