New York-based Susan Alexandra, known for whimsical accessories and homeware, is making her second foray into footwear, with a Vans collaboration. The Fantasy capsule is a limited edition capsule collection that marries Susan Alexandra’s signature childlike whimsy with Vans’ classic silhouettes, creating a fusion of nostalgia, excitement, and glitter.
The Fantasy Capsule comprises of two silhouettes: The Old Skool silhouette takes in a vibrant chartreuse colorway with pastel daisies and rose-lined laces and a ballet-inspired Mary Jane with removable ribbon lacing and a satin rosette adorning the heel. Both styles are described by Susan Korn, the founder of Susan Alexandra, as “portals to fantasy worlds” and are drenched in shimmering glitter.
