Nike is going big for Air Max Day 2024 with the debut of Air Max Dn, a shoe that marks the premiere of Dynamic Air, a technology realized with a four-tubed Nike Air unit created to maximize comfort while also putting put a bounce in your step. Designed to go from the gym to the street, the shoe marries performance capabilities with distinctly modern good looks.
Underscoring the shoe’s versatility, Nike tapped x-born photographer Toronto-born Petra Collins to shoot campaign images. Tapping into a theme of walking on water, images highlight the Air Max Dn’s style bonafides.
Made from recycled materials, the head-turning shoe features a multilayered, lightweight and breathable mesh upper, detailed with a haptic print for a textured look. Adding further bounce, the air chambers are contained with a soft and supportive foam textile.
The air unit consists of two pressurized chambers, each with two tubes, constructed with higher pressure in the heel and lower pressure in the forefoot. With each step, air freely flows between the tubes in each chamber, a set up enabling air to respond to the pressure and interact in a unique way with the individual’s step.
The shoe will debut in one of four colors: black, dark smoke grey, anthracite, light crimson (style code: FJ3145-005); light orewood brown, light iron ore, moon particle, phantom (style code: FJ3145-101); black, cool grey, pure platinum, white (style code: FJ3145-002); half blue, pure platinum, football grey, summit white (style code: FJ3145-400).
Priced from $130-$160 and launching on March 26, 2024 on nike.com, Air Max Dn is available in men’s women’s and kid’s sizing.
