Bronx native and rapper Ice Spice has partnered with New York’s Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) on a Metro Card featuring an image of the 24-year-old rapper. The card is part of the marketing in the lead up to the launch of her upcoming Y2K album.
The card will be available at vending machines at Fordham Road in the Bronx and Penn Station and Times Square in Manhattan, starting at midnight tonight.
Ice Spice has released the debut single for the album, “Gimmie A Light,” but hasn’t provided a launch date for the project yet.
This is cute marketing but we have to ask, does anyone use Metrocards anymore??
