Fresh off its debut New York Fashion Week runway show, Milan-based Off-White has been named the official style and culture curator for the WNBA‘s New York Liberty. The first capsule will feature a varsity jacket, with future releases including seasonal fashion capsules, community programming, and partnerships with Liberty players to celebrate Women’s History Month, Black History Month and Pride Month.
Off-White CEO Cristiano Fagnani commented on the collaboration, stating, “Off-White is a catalyst force for change, creating platforms and giving voice to a community of young radicals, groundbreaking talents, and unique cultural forces. The New York Liberty are leading the change in the world of sports, demanding attention and being bold. Sport is evolving, and women are making history by owning it. Off-White and New York Liberty varsity jacket launches on September 22, 2024, during the Liberty’s first playoff game. A limited number of jackets will be available for fans to customize and pre-order at Barclays Center during select playoff games.
