Bluestar Alliance-owned Off-White pays tribute to the connection between its late founder Virgil Abloh and Bstroy founders Brick Owens and Dieter “Du” Grams with its latest “Out Of Office” sneakers.
The sneaker design was born out of a dynamic thread exchange of ideas between Bstroy founders Du and Brick in a group thread with Virgil Abloh. In classic Virgil fashion, he replied to a message by screenshotting the image and sketching over it with his finger, drawing an arrow that pointed directly to Du’s 40th anniversary Porsche 911. That very arrow became the inspiration for replacing the sneaker’s signature leather arrow. This resulted in a raw yet captivating finger-sketch motif in silver, blue, and green that dances along the seams of the shoe, unapologetically breaking the lines. A second white-silver-black colorway reflects their shared admiration for the Porsche 911.
The Off-White x BSTROY “Out of Office” sneakers are available in two unique colorways. The first features a silver-blue-green palette with black accents and the signature pink arrow. The second, inspired by the Porsche 911, showcases a sleek silver-black design, also highlighted by the pink arrow.
